My Bio

My name is Gemma-Louise Wright.

I was born and raised in the Southern Peninsula where I currently reside.

I attended Star of the Sea School in St. James, Fish Hoek Middle School, Fish Hoek Senior High school and I received my matric through Intec Correspondence in 2008. I am a Journalism student at City Varsity Media College, based in central Cape Town, with the intention of graduating in March 2012.

Before deciding to embark in the Journalism field, I experienced many different industries to get a feel for a potential future career. These positions included the South African film industry, retail, child care and education as well as office administration.

My interests include music and literature. I hope to get involved in the music industry or to become a part of the publishing field.

I plan to study further, especially in English and Literature to broaden my horizons.
